Highly qualified and with over 50 years experience, James carries out all repairs in our own state of the art Swiss equipped workroom with precision and using only genuine parts.
OMEGA WATCHES: James is an OMEGA Watch Repair Specialist. He Has the support of the SWATCH GROUP, the OMEGA AUSTRALIAN AGENT and enjoys the freedom of obtaining from them any OMEGA part or parts he may require and to have an order placed with the OMEGA FACTORY in Switzerland if a part happens to be not in stock locally at SWATCH.
ROLEX WATCHES: James has been attending to ROLEX repairs throughout his long watchmaking career and is truly a ROLEX expert. In past years James always enjoyed the support of ROLEX AUSTRALIA and, as with other brands, was able to obtain any genuine ROLEX part he required. However, in more recent years the ROLEX Company has adopted a global policy of not supplying any parts to anyone outside the ROLEX organisation. On some other web sites around the world, the present ROLEX policy is vigorously criticised. We, at A1 Classic Clocks do not intend to enter into the debate, save to say that an owner of a ROLEX watch is exactly that, the OWNER and is entitled to take his watch to whoever he or she chooses to have it repaired and to seek competetive pricing. In spite of the ROLEX policy, James at A1 Classic Clocks, will continue to repair ROLEX watches. If your watch needs to be serviced or overhauled and no parts are required, we will have no difficulty. However, if any part or parts are required, we will make every endeavour to obtain genuine ROLEX parts from one of a number of supply houses around the world who have remaining stock from the pre ROLEX non supply policy days. If we cannot source a genuine part, we would almost certainly be able to source a generic part, which in some cases would be indistinguishable, even to Rolex, from the original. However, in such a case we would always first inform a client and allow him or her, the option of collecting the watch from us and taking it to ROLEX should that be their wish.
